3. Verify the court-hour economics

Use figures from the same day or month and label every unit. The simulator’s court-hour figure refers to booked operating capacity; it is different from the number of customers when multiple people share a court.

Court utilization = booked court-hours ÷ available court-hours × 100. High utilization shows busy capacity, not automatically a healthy margin.
Revenue per court hour = court-booking revenue ÷ booked court-hours. Keep membership and program revenue separate unless the assignment explicitly allocates them.
Contribution per court hour = (court-booking revenue − payment fees − variable utilities) ÷ booked court-hours. This amount helps cover payroll, rent, marketing, maintenance, and other fixed or period costs.
Break-even court-hours = period fixed costs ÷ contribution per court hour. If contribution is zero or negative, adding bookings under the same economics will not reach break-even.

4. Record connected evidence

Capture each run at the same stopping point. Repeat the test if an event or demand shock makes the first comparison hard to interpret. A repeat checks consistency; it should not be used to hide an inconvenient result.
