Teacher setup, checkpoints, and adaptations
Before the project
Open the selected simulator, confirm devices can load it, choose acceptable measures, and decide whether teams share a scenario. Demonstrate one intentionally poor comparison so students can identify why it is weak.
During the project
Approve each decision charter before testing. Ask teams what stayed constant, which units they recorded, and what result would disconfirm their idea. Pause teams that are changing several controls at once.
Access and extension
Provide a preselected question, baseline, and highlighted metrics for more support. For extension, require a repeated run, percent-change calculation, sensitivity test, or comparison of two stakeholder perspectives.
Keep conclusions responsible and legal
Simulation outputs are generated by simplified educational rules. They are not forecasts, financial advice, legal advice, safety approvals, market research, or evidence that a real claim is truthful. Students should not invent customer testimony, collect personal information, contact real people, or present simulated revenue as actual performance.
Any real business decision would require current local requirements, reliable cost and demand evidence, permission, safety controls, privacy protection, accessibility, truthful advertising, and appropriate professional review. The strongest project conclusion is often a small next test with explicit safeguards—not a promise of success.

Which simulation should students use?
